Royal Woods Is a brand new state of the art dog boarding facility, right next to downtown Farmington Maine. Theres lots of room to run and play, complete with access to outside at all times! As a locally owned business Royal Woods is devoted to keeping your pets healthy, safe and happy. We strive to take the anxiety out of pet ownership by providing our clients with high quality service, that is reliable and convenient. If you worry about leaving your pet home alone all day, or for trips out of town, bring them down!
Dogs have indoor and outdoor access all day, they can go in and out as they please. If your dog is older or needs special care, just let us know and well make sure they get the extra care they require.
We offer 24-hour supervision of all areas of our facility and we guarantee your pet is in a safe, clean and secure environment.

Private Suite
Each pet will have their own private suite equipped with a bed or cot in a climate controlled environment.
Soft twinkle lights are always left on through out the night along with soothing music.
- We feed according to your preferences and any medications can be administered.
- Most dogs do better sticking to their usual diet. If possible please bring your own food for their stay.
- All pets are required to be up to date on all vaccinations, including Bordetella, be in good health and on flea prevention.
Dog boarding is offered 7 days a week & is available on all holidays at a daily rate of $25.
Drop off and pick up is 7:00am-10:00am and/or 3:00-6:00pm
NOTE: Multiple Family discount is available if they are rooming together in the same suite.
AGAIN: Pets are required to be up to date on all vaccinations, including a Bordetella, be in good health and on flea prevention.
On departure day, if picked up after 10:00 am you will be charged $25 for daycare services.
Overnight
- Please supply their food and provide us with instructions
- We are capable of administering medications to your dog while he/she is with us. Please provide written instructions. All medications must be labeled with type and dogs name
- Boarding is all inclusive including daycare play time if your pet has passed a temperament evaluation
- All dogs must have proof of current vaccinations at least one week prior to their stay with us
- All dogs must be on an active Flea and Heartworm Control Program; e.g. Frontline, Advantage, HeartGuard
- Puppies must be 12-16 weeks of age and must have vaccinations completed
- All dogs must be in good health
- All dogs must be picked up by 10am or you will be charged a $25 daycare fee for that day.
- Only dogs that live together are permitted to board in the same suite
- Only 3 dogs per suite are permitted
